We just spent a fantastic weekend in this beautiful house . The house is spotlessly clean, and has everything you need in terms of comfort. All the beds were really comfortable. The view that greets you when you enter the living space is spectacular. Alison is a great host and very easy to communicate with. Would love to return…soon hopefully.

Just home after a wonderful stay at Swn y Mor which is in a perfect location for exploring this beautiful corner of Wales. The house was ideal for our family group with plenty of space for everyone to relax, super comfortable beds and great bathroom and shower rooms. The views from the superbly appointed open plan kitchen living area, across Harlech bay and the mountains beyond, are just mesmerising and worth booking the house for alone. Would whole heartedly recommend!

Just returned from a wholesome family break for half term… and cannot wait to return. The house is stunning and beautifully presented whilst still feeling homely- the photos do not do it justice- the panoramic views took our breath away. You could sit for hours looking out at the view of the sea and the hills. Every little detail has been thought of for everything a young family would need. Alison has been incredible from start to finish, extremely responsive and informative- you can feel the passion she has for what she does and the local area- she gave us some tips and advice as to what was on in the local area and we ended up doing them all- trick or treating around the local shops in Harlech, pumpkin spotting down the slate caverns and the spectacular Barmouth beach fireworks.
This area of Wales already has a special place in our hearts, and now so does this beautiful house, thank you Alison

The house was beautiful. The views from the balcony are magnificent, so peaceful just sitting and relaxing.

This house and the surroundings cannot be faulted.

Alison was always available when needed.

We will go again in the summer.

What a wonderful Christmas stay we’ve had at Swn y Mor! The home was IMMACULATE! Clean everything (kitchen, furniture, bathrooms, linens), well equipped (we cooked a roast Christmas dinner with all the trimmings), and the most breathtaking views l’ve seen in a while at an Airbnb home.

To top everything off, Alison had arranged for a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, lots of thoughtful decorations around the home, and the piece de resistance was the beautifully decorated table setting on the day we checked in.

I honestly couldn’t speak of this host highly enough

We had a lovely winter stay at this stunning Airbnb. It really is as good as it looks and we loved spending time in the kitchen and living room space with its balcony and beautiful sea view! Highly recommend, a beautiful part of Wales

A fabulous house, photos are very representative and the place was that rare diamond that was better than the pictures. Beautiful view and everything in good condition. Alison was responsive to any queries and great communication pre-stay. Would highly recommend as a base to explore the coast and even into Snowdonia.

A beautiful house in a stunning location, with an amazing view!

You can tell Alison has put a lot of time and effort into making this place a really special place to stay.

We appreciated the little touches like the hot chocolate and marshmallows in the kitchen for us to use, plenty of loo roll, nice hand soaps, games to play, local art work on the walls etc.

We had a lovely stay, thank you.

Wonderful panoramic views looking out from a very peaceful and well appointed home. There was obvious attention to detail paid throughout from the greeting to the departure instructions. None of our party had ever visited North Wales previously but it is an area we will gladly recommend in the future. I think I speak for all of us when I say our 5 days in Harlech and environs was one of the best breaks we have ever experienced in Great Britain.

What an amazing property. Not sure where to start with highlighting all the positives for this beautiful home.

Ah yes – the views. The photos do not do the views justice. It took our breath away when we walked in! Spent hours just looking out to the beautiful sea and mountains. The sun set was best part of the day! It’s a beautiful property. So comfortable. Beds extremely comfortable. Everything is high end as in bedding, towels, furniture and kitchen equipment. Everything was spotlessly clean. Harlech is a lovely little town and has a stunning beach. Lots to travel to and see but to be honest you could just spend every day at the property with that view and it would still be a great holiday. Will be back for sure.

I reluctantly have to tell everyone how fabulous Swn Y Mor actually is…because I would like to keep this beautiful property a little secret….But I have booked another week for next year, actually booked whilst staying in the property, so I don’t mind sharing.

Alison is an excellent host, very responsive and extremely caring and friendly with all communications.

We arrived to a lovely welcome basket and the wow factor of the views from the comfortable, cosy kitchen lounge area…

The kitchen was well equipped and spotlessly clean.

The beds are so comfortable and the bedding was lovely and crisp with a lovely clean smell.

All in all one of the best holiday properties we have stayed in and there has been a few.

Add to this a very friendly and caring host.

Everything was just perfect, location, property and host.

We were two couples staying for a week. We could not have been happier with our stay at Swn Y Mor. The property is beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean and well presented. The sea views from the large picture windows are stunning. The property is on a quiet, elevated road, but only a comfortable walk from the centre of Harlech. Alison is the perfect host – clear instructions, great communication, friendly recommendations and advice. We were delighted, and would love to return. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Sŵn Y Môr. The welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the week. The views are exceptional, we could have happily spent all day just looking out over the sea and mountains. The house itself is beautifully presented, spotless, and had everything we needed to settle in straight away. Alison was a brilliant host, very responsive, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. None of us wanted to leave, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. I highly recommended a stay here!

We had a wonderful time at Alison’s home, Syn y Mor, in Harlech. The house was beautiful – very clean, tastefully decorated, and Alison had thought of every little detail for things that we may need. The views from the house were outstanding and we would often gaze at the sea and Harlech beach from the living room, particularly at sunset. The kids loved the games room downstairs, and we played some of the board games on a rainy day and in the evenings. The house is walkable to the centre of Harlech (~10-15 min walk), where there was a lovely delicatessen, ice cream shop, some restaurants & Harlech castle, which are all worth a visit. We also walked down to Harlech beach and it is easy to drive from the house to other places of interest: we climbed Snowdon, went to Zip World, Nantcol waterfalls, Portmeirion, and restaurants in Harlech, Portmadog and Barmouth. I would highly recommend Syn y Mor as a perfect place to visit this beautiful area of North Wales. Thank you, Alison!

Just returned from a lovely 6 night stay at Sŵn Y Môr, with my wife and 2 young children
The cottage was clean, cozy, comfortable and had the most amazing views out onto the seafront and mountains. It was very well equipped and the kitchen even came stocked with some breakfast essentials and treats (which were an unexpected, but much appreciated bonus).
The host communicated extremely well both prior to and during our stay. She made us all feel very welcome in staying at this beautiful home. We would highly recommend Sŵn Y Môr and would certainly return in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Alison’s place. It had so many amenities, beautiful views, and beautiful facilities. It was perfect for my in-laws, 2 teenagers, and my husband and I. We could walk into town, walk to 2 different beaches and it was also drivable to Snowdon. We left feeling thankful for such an amazing week!

A fantastic house in a beautiful location with a view you can look at for hours. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, the house was ideally placed for visiting the local area, with shops, restaurants and activities all within a short drive – perfect for families and friends alike. We had the best stay at Swn Y Mor! The four of us loved the area but more importantly where we were staying, so much so we didn’t want to leave!

Swn Y Mor is a wonderful place. We have just got home from four blissful and adventurous days. The house was so beautifully clean and tidy, well equipped and extremely comfortable and Alison was so helpful and communicative.
Honestly the views are just amazing. We ate in every night because we couldn’t get enough of it. We had the most fabulous weather which made the holiday but even without the sunshine the view is pretty unbeatable.
Harlech is a sweet village and the beach is stunning. We even swam in the sea in early April! We climbed Snowdon and Cnicht during our stay and the National Park is only 30mins way so the house is well located if you want to walk. We also drove up to the Velocity Zip Line at Penryhn Quarry which was fantastic and loved Bounce Below at Llechwedd. Also run by Zip World.

Swn y mor was absolutely perfect. Stunning views, and it was easy to settle into and feel right at home. Absolutely nothing was a problem and everything worked like a dream. Great showers, an awesome bath, very helpful and responsive host. We just settled right in and it felt luxurious but also cosy and comfortable. We will be back!
